Curating Art is in equal shares an academic and practice based education. The programme was developed as a joint enterprise between Stockholm University and prestigious institutions in the art world. Its dual perspective combining academic demands and practice based experience is a fundamental aspect in courses, assignments, and examinations.

The admission round for Autumn 2020 is now finished; deadline for the applications was 15 January, 2020 and the result was published on the University admissions website on 3 April.  Please note: Only one admission round!

All admitted students, as well as eligible applicants who have received a place on the reserve/waiting list, have been notified by now.

We regret that we will not be able to give individual feed back to applicants on the reserve list with regard to the chances of being admitted at a later stage. If a vacancy should occur, we will contact applicants on the list by email in a strict numerical order; you must therefore await to be contacted by us! If you don´t hear from us, then there is unfortunately no position available for you at the moment.

The selection of applicants was based on the following parameters: Letter of Intent, relevance of professional or research experience (as documented in CV), relevance of previous studies, grades on academic courses, interview (for short listed applicants).

We would like to sincerely thank all applicants for your interest in the programme! The competition was really fierce as usual - out of the more than 200 initial applicants, approx. 30 persons were interviewed and we have this year admitted 9 students.

The next application period for 2021 will open in early December, 2020, with deadline approx. 15 January, 2021. Updated details for applicants will be published during the autumn of 2020.
