About the thesis

This thesis consists of three independent and self-contained essays on externalities and coordination failures. The focus on behavioral aspects of externalities and how this impacts optimal policy design is a theme that runs throughout all three chapters.

Sebastian and IIES Professor Torsten Persson at the defense

From fall 2023, Sebastian will spend one year as Post Doc at the School of Global Policy and Strategy at UC San Diego and will then move on to take up a position as Assistant Professor at Copenhagen Business School.
