Welcome to the Environmental Humanities launch and seminar
On September 5, our new open seminar series in the Environmental Humanities, and the Master Programs with a focus on Environmental Humanities will be launched by the dean prof. Stefan Helgesson. The seminar aims to bring MA students together with practitioners and researchers in the wider environmental humanities field – all welcome.
 
Keynote at the opening seminar on September 5 is historian Professor Sandra Swart, from Stellenbosch University, South Africa, who will present "Becoming a Lion's Historian: More-than-human solutions for living on planet Earth", about the relationships between lions and humans in the Kalahari Desert.

This is the first lecture in our higher seminar series.

3/10 at 18-20: Ecoart: Mårten Snickare (in Swedish).
7/11 at 15-17: BioOrdinary: Biodiversity Dilemmas in Ordinary places Bengt G. Karlsson and Tomas Cole. The larger aim of BIOrdinary is to formulate a more just, inclusive and democratic biodiversity agenda, based on local understandings and practices that involve living with migrant species and multispecies justice.
