Out of 51 applications 12 were accepted, which gives a 24 percent approval-rate. During the period 018-2020 approximately 36 million SEK will be distributed from Sweden. The Swedish grant amount will be jointly financed by Forte.

Stockholm University will together with Central South University, in Changsha, China, host the three year project “Environmental Factors in Parkinson’s Disease Pathogenesis”, granted three million SEK.

Mattias Mannervik from The Department of Molecular Biosciences will be the Swedish project leader and Zhuohua Zhang the Chinese counterpart.
