New procedure for the President and University Director ruling and approval
Starting the 31 of August 2020, documents and decisions drafted for the President and the University Director, as a general rule, no longer need a physical signature. The exceptions to the now established principle apply in very few cases and only when specifically required by law, local routines or external parties.

The purpose of this reform is to simplify administrative procedures. The cover sheet does not need to be physically signed either. Instead, insert the names of the desk-officers on the cover sheet and send an e-mail to the head of the department who in turn approves the cover sheet via a confirming e-mail. Protocol excerpts are also exempt from the need for physical signature. Updated information about the procedure and as well as updated Word templates for decisions, cover sheets are now available on the Employee Web.

The Head of department is responsible for ensuring that subject matters are prepared and submitted in conformity with the prescribed procedures.

The new procedure is communicated via employee notice and ULI.
