Research interests

My research interests include the Earth's climate during the instrumental past and in the future. In particular:

- uncertainty in aerosol-cloud interactions and climate senstivity
- aerosols and regional climate climate change
- methods to separate external forcing from internal climate variability
- regional climate projections and their use for adaptation planning
- interdisciplinary approaches combining climate science with impact studies
