Anna Tanimoto joined a panel discussion at this year’s Swedoc conference, “Challenges and opportunities for early career researchers” organized by SFS (the Swedish National Union of Students), SNPA (the Swedish Network of Postdoc Associations) and ST (the Union of Civil Servants).

NOWSTARS researcher Anna Tanimoto attended Swedoc 2025 to participate in a panel discussion about "Precarious Employment and the Swedish Academic System" where she shared insights and reflections based on her thesis work about the uncertainties associated with working in Swedish academia in relation to faculty health and well-being.

Other important topics discussed during the two-day conference for early career researchers in Sweden included career development, academic freedom, and the work environment and equal rights.
