Casey McCoy is a postdoc on the Swedish Research Council-funded project "Non-empirical Theory Confirmation in Fundamental Physics" led by Richard Dawid. Before coming to Stockholm, he worked at the University of Edinburgh on the European Research Council-funded project "Perspectival Realism" led by Michela Massimi. He obtained his PhD in 2016 at the University of California San Diego under the supervision of Craig Callender with a dissertation entitled "Philosophical Implications of Inflationary Cosmology".
