I am currently teaching the course "Early Crime Fiction: The Emergence of a Genre", a course I have developed myself.

Focusing on both print and electronic literature, I am mainly interested in the act of reading, and in bringing together literary theory, cognitive psychology and neuropsychology.

In my dissertation project I am investigating how different aspects of information processing is foregrounded in literature written in the ”digitalization era” (starting in the mid 90’s with the popularization of the personal computer and Internet), as well as in the act of reading this literature.
