Om mig

Jag är en sociolog med en bakgrund i teknisk fysik. Jag är huvudsakligen intresserad av modellering av social organisering och organisationsdynamik. I synnerhet undersöker jag statistiska mönster som uppstår i organisatoriska processer samt dessa mikroursprung ur interaktioner mellan individer.

Metodologiskt inspireras jag av begrepp och verktyg från tvärvetenskapliga ramverk så som komplexa och sociala nätverksanalys och sekvensanalys. Utöver dess har jag nytta av idéer och metoder från andra fält, exempelvis komplexa dynamiska system, organisationsekologi, och statistisk fysiken av icke-jämviktsystem.

På ett bredare plan är jag intresserad av skillnader och likheter mellan modeller för sociala, biologiska och fysiska fenomen, både filosofiskt sett och avseende modelldesign och implementering.

Intresseområden: social organisering, organisationsdynamik, sociala mekanismer, social nätverksanalys, livsförloppssekvensanalys, beräkningssociologi, sociofysik, modellering av sociala system.
