Om mig

Professor i forskning om ojämlikhet i hälsa med folkhälsovetenskaplig/medicinsk inriktning (sedan 2002). Tidigare Clinical Senior Lecturer i epidemiologi vid London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Storbritannien (1997-2002).

Gästprofessor i social epidemiologi med inriktning mot barn och ungdomar vid Institutionen för folkhälsovetenskap, Karolinska Institutet (2015-2019), anknuten till forskning, Karolinska Institutet (2020-2021).

Ilonas forskning handlar främst om ojämlikheter i hälsa ur ett livsloppsperspektiv och hur utvecklingen under tidiga barnaår påverkar hälsa senare i livet.
