Om mig
Jiayin Yuan completed his PhD degree in 2009 in Germany, and joined the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces. There he served as a research group leader for 6 years, and left for Clarkson University, USA in 2017 for an Associate Professor appointment. Since 2019 he has been a full professor in Materials Chemistry at Stockholm University, exploring functional polymers and carbon materials, including thier fundamental knowledge and applications in sustainable development. He is a Wallenberg Academy Fellow in Sweden, the head of Materials Unit at Stockholm University, and the Director of the Stockholm Material Hub. He received the ERC starting grant in 2014 and ERC consoldiator grant in 2022.
