Department of Public Health Sciences

On 1 January 2018, the Department of Public Health Sciences was founded at Stockholm University. Two research centres, CHESS and SoRAD, are housed within the Department. The new Department performs research and education within the field of public health sciences.

Andrea Dunlavy receives postdoc grant from Forte

Forte has granted Andrea Dunlavy a two year postdoc grant, for the project "Health and integration in refugee children: Examining the role of migrant density in schools".

Forte awareded a three-year research grant to Ylva B Almquist

Associate Professor Ylva B Almquist, researcher at the Centre for Health Equity Studies within the Department of Public Health Sciences, has been awarded a research grant by Forte, financing the three-year research project "Pathways to health among individuals with experience of childhood adversity: A risk and resilience framework (RISE)".
