About SoRAD

The Centre for Social Research on Alcohol and Drugs (SoRAD) is an interdisciplinary research centre which initiates and conducts social scientific research in the field of alcohol, drugs, tobacco and gambling. SoRAD was established in 1999, following a Government Report and with the aim to strengthen social alcohol and drug research.  SoRAD is based in the Faculty of Social Sciences at Stockholm University. The centre is led by a Director and by an external board.
