The aim of this workshop is to give you all an opportunity to present something from your PhD thesis. You will have 20 mins for your presentation. After that a commentator (another NoNo-student) will ask prepared questions. This will take around 10 mins. After that we open up for questions from the rest of you (10-15 mins). Supervisors will be present but you are the stars of the show, so they will only moderate the discussion.

You will need to submit a draft of your presentation 2 weeks before the workshop. This draft should only contain the material you will present at the workshop. The draft will be made accessible to all of you, but it is only the dedicated commentor that are required to read it in advance and prepare questions.

The idea is for you to practice giving a conference/workshop presentation. It is good to start thinking now about what you would like to present.

Send a title and a short abstract to me by September 1, so we can more easily distribute the commentators. If for some reason, you are not able to attend, let me know as soon as possible.
