Invitation to a national symposium for researchers
The research infrastructures NEAR and REWHARD are organising a national symposium for researchers on non-response in cohort and survey studies on 26 November.

Welcome to a non-response seminar organised by the research infrastructures NEAR and REWHARD. The symposium aims to examine the causes of declining response rates in cohort and survey studies and identify effective strategies to manage non-response, along with gaining practical insights from other studies.
The symposium will be held onsite and online. The seminar is free, and everyone is welcome!

NEAR – National E-infrastructure for Aging Research
NEAR promotes and supports aging research by facilitating the use of longitudinal population-based data from various well-known Swedish cohort studies on aging and health. It is based on a collaboration among eight Swedish universities and includes 15 databases with individual assessments.
NEAR provides a broad range of biomedical, clinical, social, and psychological health data from around 100,000 older adults followed for 12 to 52 years.
REWHARD – Enabling research about people's living conditions and health
REWHARD is a national infrastructure for research on social relations, work and health across the life course. We coordinate research data on, among other things, education, family situation, working conditions, health behaviours, diseases and sick leave for the Swedish population. REWHARD contains high-quality data with a long-term perspective and for a total of more than 14 million people.
REWHARD is a collaboration between Stockholm University and Karolinska Institutet, with partial funding from the Swedish Research Council (VR).
