STODS includes all twins born in Sweden during the years 1925 - 1990 that were identified in the Swedish Twin Registry (n = 119 907). The purpose is to study risk factors for, and consequences of, sick leave and disability pension. Data from several nationwide registers are included for all twins. In addition, survey data on work, behavior and health for 64 000 of the twins are included.
