Lorenzo Tomasin is Full Professor of History of the Italian Language and Romance Philology at the University of Lausanne. His research interests focus on Linguistic and Cultural History, on Italian and Romance Linguistics, with a particular attention on the problems and methods of Romance Philology. He is a regular contributor of the Literary supplements of “Il Sole-24ore” and “Il Corriere del Ticino”, a collaborator of Pro Helvetia Stiftung of Zurich and a member of the jury of “Campiello” Literary award in Venice.
