The researchers in the project ‘The Indian Underbelly: Marginalisation, Migration and State Intervention in the Periphery’ participated in the discussions and held presentations about their ongoing research. The project is led by Professor Bengt G Karlsson and is a collaboration project between the Department of Social Anthropology and Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Guwahati (TISS). The other researchers are Dolly Kikon (Postdoctoral researcher, Department of Social Anthropology), Sanjay (Xonzoi) Barbora (Associate Professor, TISS), Avelu Chotso, Snehashish Mitra, Erika Tanos and Rasmus Canbäck.
