Basic Level
Studies at the basic level are the most important building blocks in a degree in Social Anthropology. Here, you learn the particular terminology and concepts of the discipline, gain insight into anthropological methods and perspectives, and learn to “think like an anthropologist”. In the three terms of study offered at this level, you will gain insight into cultures in different regions around the world, and focus on a number of theoretical issues in the discipline. A considerable emphasis is also put on academic analysis and on writing.
