On May 14-15, 2015, Livia Sz. Oláh provided a presentation in the United Nations Expert Group Meeting on “Family policy development: achievement and challenges” in New York. Ten international experts participated at the meeting, organized by the Focal Point on the Family at the Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA) Division for Social Policy and Development. The topics of discussion ranged from regional trends in changing family patterns, through gender equality, family laws and family policy development, to violence in families, access to justice for all, and families and sustainable development goals. Livia gave a presentation on “Changing families in the European Union: Trends and policy implications”.
