A program on ageing is headed by Gunnar Andersson and involves collaboration between researchers at SUDA, Karolinska institutet and Umeå University: “Ageing well - individuals, families and households under changing demographic regimes in Sweden” receives 9 M SEK during 2017-2019.

A program on migration is headed by Bo Malmberg and involves collaboration between researchers at SUDA and the Departments of Human Geography at Stockholm and Umeå Universities: “Migrant Trajectories: Geographical Mobility, Family Careers, Employment, Education, and Social Insurance in Sweden 1990-2016” also receives 9 M SEK during 2017-2019. Both programs are supported by the Swedish Research Council for Health, Working Life and Welfare, FORTE.
