Find a language buddy
Through Språkstudion's Tandem program, you can be matched with a language buddy to mutually practise each other's languages. The Tandem program provides you with opportunities for language practice in a relaxed environment, as you get to know your language buddy and their culture.
You learn so much more than in class and you make friends that you otherwise probably would not have made.
To sign up for the Tandem program as a student or member of staff at Stockholm University or one of our partner universities, please fill out the sign-up form below. You can apply to the Tandem program at any point during the term, and your registration is active during the current term.

About the Tandem program
Being language buddies within the Tandem program means working systematically to learn and help one another with learning each other's native-level language(s). It is not about formal teaching, but rather an informal language exchange for which you decide the methods and forms (such as how often you meet and for how long). The Tandem program is a perfect complement to formal language classes.
Who can sign up?
The Tandem program is open to all students and members of staff at Stockholm University and our partner universities.
We collaborate with all universities within the CIVIS alliance, as well as 한국외국어대학교 스칸디나비어과 (Department of the Scandinavian Languages) at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS), Osaka University, Escuela Nacional de Lenguas, Lingüística y Traducción (ENALLT) at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and Sprachenzentrum der Universität Leipzig.
When will I get my language buddy?
You will receive a confirmation email within 5 work days of signing up. When we receive your registration, you are placed in a queue. We do our best to find you a suitable language buddy. How long it takes for us to find a matching language buddy depends on how many sign-ups we have received the current term.
