Each week, the Japanese Poetry Reading Club gathers at Språkstudion and reads poems from different historical eras. The coordinator of the club presents a poem and its author, and the group discuss it together over a cup of coffee or tea.

The Japanese Poetry Reading Club is held both in Japanese and in English, so non-Japanese speakers as well as those who want to practise Japanese are welcome.

Would you like to join?

There is no need to sign up for each session, but you will need to check in at our front desk every time you visit. To be able to do so, you have to be registered in the Språkstudion Language Cafe system. If you aren't registered already, you can sign up here, or come by our front desk (Södra huset, house E, 2nd floor) for help.
