KLARA - Stockholm University’s system for managing chemicals. KLARA is a user-friendly management system that simplifies and rationalises the handling of chemicals in departments and research groups.

Web publishing - CMS 

Polopoly is the University’s publishing system, which allows departments and administrative offices to publish information on the internet. The content management system allows the creation, structuring and distribution of information. Use of the system ensures that the University’s graphical and structural guidelines for websites are followed.

Visual identity tools, manual and media bank

Production toolkit and media bank

The media bank contains images, templates, material for presentations, logotypes, and other material for download. All material is gathered in a folder structure, searchable and downloadable. The production toolkit is intended for employees wishing to produce basic graphic materials. The toolkit is web-based, which makes it quick and easy to produce material that conforms with the University’s visual identity. Logotypes, colours, graphic elements, and fonts are also available in pre-designed templates. The only prerequisite is a computer and an internet connection.

Manual for visual identity: guidelines, examples and support for use of visual identity

The manual contains guidelines, examples and support for the use of the University’s visual identity (also known as a graphic profile), including the use of the logo and its different components, fonts, colour palette, graphic elements and images. Information regarding support, and how to find it can also be found here. All employees at Stockholm University should follow the University’s guidelines for visual identity.

The purpose of IVS is to bring together information from different source systems into a common database to which is connected a Business Intelligence tool (IVS), where information from all source systems can be compiled and processed in various types of reports and analytical support.

The financial system at Stockholm University is Raindance and consists of several modules where everyone in Raindance 2022 is web-based and integrated with each other.

IA system – report an incident

The IA system (Work Environment Information System) is the University’s system for the digital reporting of incidents at work, incidents on the way to or from the workplace, occupational injuries, crimes, occupational illness and environmental deviations. Employees are covered by occupational injury insurance from AFA Insurance which is the owner of IA system.

Ladok

Study administration for parts of Ladok. Administer examinations, report grades, look up students, post-graduate students, courses, and email addresses to groups and individuals. Available to all staff at SU.

Notisum

Notisum is an internet-based service that monitors Swedish and European legislation with a focus on the requirements for law enforcement and a list of laws imposed on companies that are certified according to the environmental management standard ISO 14001. In the Notisum, you will find, among other things, theme lists of laws, comments and functions for team compliance control.

Crowdhelix

Crowdhelix is an Open Innovation platform that forges links between an international network of excellent researchers and innovating companies, so that they can plan and deliver pioneering collaborative projects. Stockholm University is a member of Crowdhelix, which gives our researchers access to the platform where you can publish your own profile, call for and answer requests for research collaboration and apply for joint grants.

DMPonline is Stockholm University’s tool for researchers to create, review and share digital DMPs that follow university and funder requirements.

LabArchives is an electronic notebook where researchers can document research projects digitally. The tool allows researchers to manage information about methods, analyses, results and software used in a project, track changes and share information with authorised collaborators.

Sunet Drive/Nextcloud - secure storage for research data

Sunet Drive/Nextcloud is Stockholm University’s secure and accessible storage solution for research data. The storage is placed solely within Swedish borders and allows storing even personal and sensitive personal data, if your research requires the handling of such information.

Research funding

Prisma application tool

Prisma is the e-service for the Swedish Research Council (VR), Forte, Formas, Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, Swedish National Space Agency, and Skolforskningsinstitutet. The goal of Prisma is to simplify for applicants, reviewers and administrating organisations to perform the tasks related to applications to these research councils. Before you apply for funding in Prisma you must create a personal account.

Research Professional

Research Professional is an internet database with which it is possible for all researchers at Stockholm University to find current calls from research and automatically monitor calls of interest. Stockholm University subscribes to Research Professional and it is available from all computers at Stockholm University. If you create your own account, you can then access the database from any computer.

Survey&Report

Survey&Report is a web based survey tool that can be used by all staff and students at the University. Anyone who has a university account can log into the tool and create surveys. The tool is primarily intended for course evaluations, but all types of surveys and studies can be created with the tool.
