As the spread of Covid-19 in society worsens, it is difficult to believe that we could fully return to some form of normalcy during this academic year. During spring and autumn, our focus has been on managing our work as far as possible with the help of digital solutions and tolerance of the shortcomings of the situation has been substantial. However, from now on, we can no longer regard this as a temporary situation, but something that needs to be integrated into the systematic development of the working environment and equal working conditions.

During the past year, the Council for Work Environment and Equal Conditions (RALV) has found new forms, and a particular focus area has been to look at ways to provide support in the systematic development of the working environment and equal working conditions, especially at the local level. This is part of a drive to develop the working environment at different levels. The active development of the working environment and equal working conditions should remain high up on the agenda, especially during these times. As employees and managers, we need to take shared responsibility in this.
