Workshop: Reach international audiences via The Conversation
Date: April 19, 2023 10:30 a.m. - April 19, 2023 12:30 p.m.
Location: Tentatively in Albano
The basic idea behind The Conversation is that researchers write about current events in a popular scientific and interesting manner. The text is free to republish (but not change). After the start in 2009, the concept quickly became a success; today there are eight different regional editions in the world. The European edition is based in London and reaches millions of readers each month, both directly via the site and via re-publication in some of Europe's best-known newspapers.
Thanks to membership in the non-profit foundation behind The Conversation, researchers at Stockholm University have the opportunity to get help and support to reach an international audience and to practice writing about their research for a wider target group.
