New calls by CIVIS Hub 1: Climate, Environment, Energy.

New call for activities has been launched by CIVIS Hub 1: Climate, Environment, Energy. We are especially looking for allied programs, allied semesters and allied courses and course packages at Bachelor's, Master's and PhD levels. We also welcome proposals for short courses, summer schools, workshops, project supervision and research exchanges. Deadline for applications: 15 October 2021.

Call for proposals to support civic initiatives

Each year, the CIVIS European Civic University offers the opportunity to its community - students, academics, researchers and administrative staff - to submit an ongoing or new initiative that fits the civic values and goals of the CIVIS Alliance by developing civic engagement activities within the consortium.
Possible topics of your project may include: climate change, inclusive and quality education
gender equality, peace, justice and strong institutions, sustainable cities, communities and clean energy, human rights, inequality reductions, green energy, health and well-being

Series workshops on innovative pedagogies

CIVIS series of workshops are dedicated to academics coming from all fields of expertise. The main aim of these events is to share expertise in higher education teaching and learning and stimulate pedagogical innovation at grassroots.

HOW I SEE MY CAMPUS - The 2021 CIVIS Photo Contest & Exhibition

CIVIS is currently running a photo competition for students and staff at all the universities in the alliance. You are welcome to submit photographs showcasing the beauty, originality and strangeness of your university, or even the university community’s reunion with their home.
The best 5 photos from each university in the alliance will be part of the first CIVIS Exhibition. This will be unveiled during the Global CIVIS days in Brussels on 24 November 2021 and will then travel among the nine member universities. Enter by 10 October 2021.

Language cafés

Practise your language skills and cultural awareness by talking to native speakers and other learners, informally, over coffee or tea. Språkstudion at SU invites to the language cafés that are open to all CIVIS staff and students.
