Representing the department and ensuring that we are in sync with the society is also an important task in my role as Head of department, Fredrik continues.

Fredrik did his dissertation as an industrial doctoral student at the Stockholm School of Economics in 2005. His thesis was about outsourced services. After completing his dissertation, Fredrik continued to work with research at the Stockholm School of Economics until 2009 when he began teaching at the Marketing Section at Stockholm Business School. For the past six years, he has been Head of section and Professor Representative at the Marketing section. In 2016 he became a professor and has been the supervisor of many doctoral students.

Fredrik Nordin graduated as a civil engineer at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 1991. Before starting his academic career, Fredrik worked for 10 years at Ericsson with the development of aircraft and with purchasing services for telecommunications equipment. He still has contacts in the industry that can be useful in his role as Head of department.
