Atlas Copco visited the Corporate Finance course

On October 16, Atlas Copco's IR manager Daniel Althoff and Linnea Grönwall from the IR department visited the students on the Corporate Finance course.

The meeting with the roughly one hundred students took place in the form of a dialogue, where the students asked questions about Atlas Copco, which Daniel and Linnea answered.

The dialogue was structured and led by the five students Gustav Strömberg, Josef Brolin, Kristofer Backlund, Lina Ling-Vannerus and Markus Garede.

A student describes how rewarding the meeting with Atlas Copco was for the education.

- "We have worked with Atlas Copco as a case company for three weeks. We have discussed the company from different perspectives, starting with the general meeting, election of the board, stakeholders, ownership structure, vision and strategy, discussed and quantified risks, and then discussed return requirements , dividend policy and capital structure of Atlas Copco. Our final task is to carry out a DCF valuation on Atlas Copco, so it is hugely rewarding for us students to have companies like Atlas Copco come to us and give context to what we are studying in words and numbers. Daniel's storytelling and examples made it all so vivid and understandable. A big thank you from us students to Daniel and Linnea."

Daniel Althoff praised the students, stating that he was "super impressed" and that the questions the students asked were consistently at a very high level.
