An event at the The Swedish Forum for Human Rights (MR-dagarna) in the form of a panel discussion with a legal perspective on how refugee law contributes to the right to a life free from violence. Where are the rules? How are they created and developed? Can a state deport to unsafe conditions? Do states have to grant asylum? How are the rules applied? How do they relate to human rights? By answering these and related questions, the talk explains how refugee law protects against violence.
