Description:
The President of the Swedish Foreign Intelligence Court provides insight into the court's role and activities. This specialized court is tasked with reviewing and deciding on applications for authorization to conduct signals intelligence. These applications are submitted by the Swedish National Defence Radio Establishment (FRA) on behalf of entities such as the Government, the Government Offices, the Swedish Armed Forces, the Swedish Security Service, and the National Operations Department of the Swedish Police Authority (NOA).

Bio:
Hases Per Sjöblom is chairman of the Swedish Foreign Intelligence Court and has a background as an associate judge of the Administrative Court of Appeal, investigating secretary, counselor at the tax department at the Ministry of Finance, DG at the Swedish Gambling Authority, lawyer at the Administrative Court in Umeå, chairman of a number of tax investigations and Karnov employee. He has written a number of books on taxation.
