Stockholm Center for International Law and Justice invites you to a seminar with Dr. Christoffer Wong on the topic: The International Criminal Court’s jurisdiction over alleged violations of the human rights of the Rohingya people in Myanmar and on the territory of Bangladesh.
The seminar will examine the question of jurisdiction of the ICC over alleged violation of human rights attributed to the military leaders of a State not party to the ICC Statute. The process for initiating a preliminary investigation by the Office of the Prosecutor will form part of the question of jurisdiction.
Christoffer Wong is senior lecture in criminal law and criminal procedure at the Faculty of Lund. He teaches criminal law, criminal procedure, EU criminal law, international criminal law and comparative criminal law and main research interests lie in the field of the general part of criminal law.
