Stockholm Teaching & Learning Studies – STLS
STLS has been developed in collaboration between Stockholm University and local school authorities to initiate, support and disseminate teacher-led research and development projects.
The projects within the collaboration deal with questions and problems that takes place in the classroom's subject teaching or in the activities of the preschool. A cornerstone of STLS since its foundation has been that the research should be based on identified challenges in teaching, with teaching development as a goal. The research is therefore characterized by the fact that it takes place with and for teachers, rather than on teachers.
