Stockholm University's Baltic Sea Centre's main offices are located in the Frescati campus north of Stockholm, in the middle of the Royal National City Park. The field station Askö Laboratory is located on the island of Askö in the Trosa archipelago.

We are located in the NPQ building behind the Arrhenius Laboratory on the University's central campus Frescati.

Visiting address: Svante Arrhenius väg 20 F, floor 5

If you come from the metro station or the bus square, take the middle walkway out towards the grass field, and follow the signs to the G-hall. Turn left after the Green mansion and then right on Svante Arrhenius väg where you continue past the red Arrhenius laboratories to number 20 F. Once at the entrance, take the lift or stairs up to floor 5.

Transportation options to campus Frescati

Metro station: Universitetet

Roslagsbanan: Universitetet

Buses: 50, 52, 540, 608, 624C, 628C, 639, 670, 676 and 680

Car: Pull off the E18 (Roslagsvägen) by the University. Follow Frescativägen and then turn left to Svante Arrhenius väg (between the University area and the Swedish Museum of Natural History)

Directions to the Askö Laboratory

The Askö Laboratory belongs to Stockholm University's Baltic Sea Centre. The field station is beautifully situated on the island of Askö, 80 km south of Stockholm, in the Trosa archipelago.

Our boats depart from the Uttervik pier and most people drive thera and park, but it is also possible to take a train to Vagnhärad or a bus to Trosa.
