Welcome to the next SUCCeSS Lunch Webinar, this time arranged by Helen Sepman, PhD student at the Department of Environmental Sciences (ACES).

Plastic litter is driving a complex pollution problem — durable materials fragment into micro- and nanoplastics that are readily transported through air, water, and food webs, while known and unknown plastic chemicals can leach and transform in the environment. This webinar will examine the extent of plastic pollution using analytical tools and case studies, covering particle quantification and risk-based prioritization of chemicals leached from weathered plastic samples.
