15 minutes about the library’s publishing agreements
Friday 29 October 2021
12.00 – 12.15
What publishing agreements does the Stockholm University Library have and what do you as a researcher need to know about it?
To publish an article open access, the publisher may apply for an open access fee or article processing charge (APC). As a researcher at Stockholm University you do not necessarily have to pay the APC, since with a number of journals and publishers the University Library will cover the costs.
In this lecture we will talk about who and what kinds of fees are covered by the agreements. There will also be time to ask questions about the agreements and the library's Open Access funds.
• What is an APC?
• Publishing agreements
• Funding for Gold Open Access Journals
The lecture is free of charge and intended for researchers at Stockholm University, but other participants are also welcome.
The Zoom room will open 11.50 to give you time to log in before 12. The lecture will start at 12.00, and after 12.15 there will be time for questions.

No registration needed – welcome!
