The Impact of Remote Work on Organizational Dynamics

Dr. Ignasi Capdevila will present the research project he plans to develop during his visiting period at SCORE in Spring 2025. As part of the EU Horizon project “REMAKING”, his work will explore how remote work reshapes organizational dynamics, focusing on the transformation of organizational boundaries, identity, and collaborative practices. He aims to understand how hybrid work affects organizational structure, challenges traditional boundaries, and impacts the sense of belonging in digital workspaces. His research project will also examine partial organizations, hybrid collaborations, and shifts in power dynamics, aiming to redefine what an organization means in the modern era of remote work.
