Nobel Calling 2025
As part of Nobel Calling 2025, SUBIC welcomed visitors to explore its research facilities and learn about brain imaging through interactive demonstrations and activities.
On October 9, Stockholm University Brain Imaging Centre (SUBIC) took part in Nobel Calling 2025, a university-wide initiative held in collaboration with the Nobel Prize Museum to celebrate research and scientific engagement.
As part of the program, SUBIC welcomed visitors to explore two of its core research facilities:
In the MRI lab, guests were introduced to ongoing research through a live demonstration focusing on speech formation, offering insight into how brain imaging is used to study cognitive processes in real time.
In the X-ray lab, participants engaged in a quiz game on X-ray imaging, designed to highlight key concepts in imaging science. Winners received chocolate Nobel medals, adding a light-hearted element to the educational experience.
SUBIC was pleased to contribute to Nobel Calling by sharing its research environment and engaging with the public on topics related to brain and behavioral science. We thank all visitors for their interest and participation.
