Stockholm University Brain Imaging Centre (SUBIC) is a new strategic initiative of the University of Stockholm. SUBIC provides an infrastructure for brain imaging research focused on the function of human and animal brains. The research at SUBIC includes both language and behavioral Humanities and Social Sciences, Law and zoology, mathematics and other scientific disciplines.

Stockholm University Brain Imaging Centre is a unique facility in Sweden, with disciplinary research opportunities across all faculties. "This is a great way to use our regulatory capital" says Principal Astrid Söderbergh Widding. SUBIC is initially managed by the Department of Linguistics, with a collaboration between Stockholm University's different departments.

SUBIC is located at the Arrhenius Laboratory, where rooms are available that can be customized to the technical requirements for security, availability and technical needs.
