New funding to SOFI from Forte and Riksbankens Jubileumsfond

Two research projects at the Swedish Institute for Social Research (SOFI) have been granted new funding from the research financiers Riksbankens Jubileumsfond and Forte.

Swedish Research Council for Health, Working life and Welfare – Forte – has decided on the researchers who will be granted project grants in this year's annual open call for projects. Eleven researchers at Stockholm University have been granted a total of approximately SEK 50 million in grants, one of whom is affiliated with SOFI. The following projects have been granted funding:

  • The New Inequality: Gender and Class Patterns in the Flexible Labor Market 
    Responsible researcher (PI): Charlotta Magnusson
    Grant: SEK 4 750 000 

The Swedish Riksbank's Jubileumsfond has decided on funding in this year's regular call for humanities and social sciences. A total of approximately SEK 31 million is granted to Stockholm University, distributed among 7 projects and 2 RJ Sabbaticals. The following projects at SOFI have been granted funding:

  • Stereotypes and Inequality in Education and Labor Market Entry
    Responsible researcher (PI): Louis-Pierre Lepage
    Grant: SEK 3 975 865
