The Swedish Research Council grants new funding to SOFI

Two projects at the Swedish Institute for Social Research (SOFI) have been granted new research funding from the Swedish Research Council in the annual call for humanities and social sciences.

It is projects that study living conditions for people with disabilities and mobility between generations that are now receiving new research funding. In the annual call for humanities and social sciences from the Swedish Research Council, approximately SEK 8.9 million goes to SOFI.

A total of 90 projects have been granted funding and a further nine grants to the research environment in the humanities and social sciences are awarded by the Swedish Research Council, a total of just over SEK 534 million.

Stockholm University has had 24 applications approved for a total of SEK 138.5 million, and the following projects at SOFI are receives funding:

"Intergenerational mobility: New perspectives" is granted SEK 4,343,000. Responsible researcher: Carina Mood.

"Living conditions from youth to old age for people with disabilities: A life cycle analysis of working life, education, health and family" is granted SEK 4,593,000. Responsible researcher: Dan-Olof Rooth.
