Introduction to Anatomy, Physiology and Oncology for international students

In this course you study the anatomy of the human body and learn the Greek and Latin names of important organs. Additionally you get basic knowledge about the human physiology, You also study how tumors develop and are classified och learn the basic principles of cancer epidemiology.
The course is given at daytime and is part of the Master's Programme in Medical Physics. It can also be taken as a freestanding course.
Teaching Format
The teaching format consists of lectures and teacher guided exercises where you work with anatomic models. Demonstrations of clinically active radiologists is also provided.
Assessment
The course is examined through a written test (not compulsory) and a written exam.
