Klara Skogmyr Marian has been promoted to Associated Professor in Bilingualism at Stockholm University. The Centre for Research on Bilingualism / Department of Swedish Language and Multilingualism congratulates her!

Klara Skogmyr Marian is an Assistant Professor of Bilingualism with a specialization in social dimensions of multilingualism and second language learning. Her main research interest is in the interface between second language learning and social interaction. She uses Conversation Analysis, typically with a multimodal perspective, to investigate how people develop their interactional competence in a second or foreign language.
