The conference provides an opportunity to showcase some of the truly innovative practices that continue to keep our students’ learning experiences amongst the best in the world. This will be a productive day and we expect that you will leave the Conference with renewed inspiration to continue enhancing the learning experiences of your students. In order to make the day a success we need your contribution.

  • Do you have an idea about how to improve teaching?
  • Perhaps you have tried some new strategies in your teaching?
  • Would you like to share your experiences with other teachers at the University?
  • Or are you facing new challenges that you would like to discuss?

The Conference programme includes several themes related to the challenges and opportunities that university teachers face today.

  • Inclusive teaching and the relevant regulations
  • Digital competence
  • Tutoring and supervision
  • Teaching skills
  • Strategic pedagogical development
  • Pedagogical leadership
  • Collegial pedagogical development

Contributors will do one of the following: lead an interactive lecture or workshop, lead a round-table seminar, present a poster or a peka kucha presentation, or make a demonstration (to show how to use or apply an evaluation concept or tool). All sessions are 50 minutes long.

Abstract submissions

Abstracts of contributions can be submitted either in line with the themes mentioned above, or in a theme of your own with: a title, theme reference, type of session, presenter’s name, background and aim of presentation, activity and time plan for the session.

All abstracts will be reviewed by a group of senior teachers and experts in pedagogy. Acceptance of your contribution will be announced by 4th December 2015.

Conference registration

Participation is free of charge for all employees at Stockholm University who register before the 18th January. After that date, if you find that you are not able to attend you must either cancel your registration or transfer it to a colleague. Otherwise your department will be charged 600 SEK.
