A new wave of Blended Intensive Programmes is available for all students of CIVIS Universities. BIPs enables you to learn alongside students from across Europe. These programs blend online education with brief periods of in-person mobility. Registrations are open until 28th April.

Cellular architecture of lesions in MS now mapped out

Using advanced methodology, scientists in Sweden were able to reveal at the cellular level how lesions in multiple sclerosis develop. The new results are presented in the journal Cell by researchers from Karolinska Institutet and Stockholm University.

New way to purify water from pharmaceutical pollutants

Researchers from Stockholm University have developed porous crystals made from pomegranate extract to capture and degrade pharmaceutical molecules found in local municipal wastewater. The research is published in the scientific journal Nature Water.
