Our department is located at Universitetsvägen 10F, Building F, 6th Floor.
How to find Frescati and Södra huset
The Frescati campus area is located just north of central Stockholm. From Stockholm's city centre, it takes between half an hour and an hour to walk to Frescati. You can travel to the university campus by underground (the stop is Universitetet on the red line number 14), by bus (no. 50 from central Stockholm or no. 540 from north and north-western suburbs), by train (Roslagsbanan) or by car (E4/18, Norrtäljevägen).
From Arlanda Airport, you can either take the airport bus or the train (Arlanda Express or the regular commuter train) to Stockholm Central Station, and then take the underground/metro from there.
When you come from the underground station or the bus square, follow the walkway straight ahead, past Aula Magna and Allhuset, towards Södra huset (the blue high-rise buildings). The walk takes about ten minutes.
If you come by car, Frescati is located on the east side of Roslagsvägen. Paid parking is located south of Södra huset (the blue high-rise buildings). The visiting address is Universitetsvägen 10F.
Finding your way on Stockholm University campus
Teaching for our courses takes place mostly in central premises in Södra Husen. Rooms are stated in the schedule for each course. Rooms in Södra Husen are indicated, with some exceptions, in letters followed by three digits. The letters indicate which house the room is located in and the first number indicates the floor.
Information and directions to centrally-administered examination halls at Stockholm University is available on the central web.
