Waste management in Nod
The waste management in Nod is environmentally certified. The building is BREEAM-certified in compliance with Stockholm University’s environmental certification. This means certain requirements on how we handle waste.
Placement and bins on floor 2
- Paper for recycling: bins in the service centres (where the printers are).
- Combustible material, envelopes, post-it notes, paper mugs, chewing gum, snus, serviettes, etc.: in the student lunch facilities. Six bins in the corridors and the service centres.
- Packing material, cardboard, corrugated cardboard: in the student lunch facilities and the service centres.
- Food waste from the kitchen, plants, serviettes, banana peels and compostable waste: in the student lunch facilities.
- Plastic, hard or soft: in the student lunch facilities and six bins in the corridors.
- Glassware and porcelain: in the student lunch facilities.
- Deposit cans/bottles: in the student lunch facilities.
- Batteries: in the student lunch facilities.
- Metal: in the student lunch facilities.
We urge everyone to take responsibility and bring your waste to the proper recycling station.
