DSV continues to attract master students

Master’s programmes at DSV were very popular for the 2024 intake.

The total of applicants was approximately five thousand, distributed over eight programmes. Most popular is a new programme which combine data science, statistics and decision analysis with one thousand applicants closely followed by the master's programme in information security and the one-year master’s programme in IT project management.

The department’s eight programmes offer Swedish and international students education in several specialisations in the main field of computer and systems sciences, both on campus and online.

DSV is one of the largest departments at Stockholm University with approximately five thousand active students on bachelor’s and master’s programmes as well as stand-alone courses. Programmes begin once a year, in late August. Next intake is for autumn of 2025. Applications are accepted from mid-October 2024 to mid-January 2025.
