Below, you will find information about credit transfer of studies.

If you are a student at Stockholm University you can apply for a transfer of credits for studies that you have completed at other Swedish universities or universities abroad.
A completed application form should be handed /sent in, together with transcript of records for the studies that you wish to transfer and relevant information as syllabus, course description and reading list. See the application form for details:

Credit Transfer from exchange studies
In order to transfer credits from your exchange studies to your programme at the Department of Physical Geography, you must apply for this when you are back in Sweden. Credits are not transferred to Stockholm University automatically.

Enclose the following documents (if necessary, translated to English):
- Transcript of Records - an certified copy of the original document.
- Learning Agreement
- Changes to Learning Agreement (If the department have approved of changes of courses.)
If you have changed to a course which has not been approved by the Department of Physical Geography, please attach relevant information as syllabus, course description and reading list.
Translation of credits
30 ECTS credits correspond to 30 credits in the Swedish system. You cannot gain more than 30 credits per semester or 60 credits per academic year. In cases where the ECTS system is not applied: you should perform the equivalent of 20 weeks full-time studies to obtain 30 credits.
The grades you receive during your exchange studies will not be transferred since the grading system cant be compared between countries.
